Composition & Recommendation for Use
MCIR303GC is a Resilient Isophthalic Unsaturated Polyester Resin based Clear Gelcoat (Without addition of any pigment). It is pre-promoted with special combination of Metallic Driers for best color results.
As it is a Thixotropic Gelcoat, can be blended with proper pigment color pastes to get the desired final Gelcoat color. The recommended ratio of blending is between 15 – 25% to get the best results. However actual Blend ratio may depend on color depth required at the surface of end product, and the requirements of end user.
Applications
- All General Purpose items needing smooth, shiny, stain resistant, and harder but resilient surface.
- Boats, Furniture, wall panels, Decorative items, Food Containers.
- Water Tanks, Sanitary products, Portable Toilets, & Children Rides etc.
Properties
- Stain Resistant against effects of frozen foods, blood, meat, & many chemicals.
- Resistant to Moisture/Water, Gasoline, diesel and grease etc.
- Resistant to Yellowing and UV degradation.
- It’s gloss is retained, if proper cleaning and polishing carried out.
